Sensorimotor

Self-structuring patterns can be observed all over the universe, from galaxies to molecules to living matter, even in social systems. These structures grow and reproduce on their own and exhibit unpredictable dynamic behaviors.

Sensorimotor is a self-structuring auditory and visual environment that evolves by the interactions of emergent agents with each other and the observers. The system reproduces and sustains its life by the formation of real-time audio-visual impulses. These impulses are the result of the system’s indeterminacy and the changes in the observers' movements and positions in physical space. The installation aims at creating an abstraction of a sensorimotor integration process.
