majāz | مَجاز
A digital model may operate as a prosthetic space, or Barzakh, where the sensible and the ineffable converge without the closure of recognition, provided it is released from its hunger for categories. In Suhrawardi’s view, “برزخ” (the Persian term) or Barzakh (ʿālam al-mithāl) is a luminous and immaterial realm that is not entirely detached from the material world. It is considered an intermediate state where what is corporeal becomes immaterial, and what is incorporeal assumes a body.
* "Majāz" (مَجاز) is an Arabic and Persian term that has meanings related to figurative or metaphorical language. It is used when a word or expression is employed in a non-literal or symbolic sense, conveying a meaning that goes beyond the direct, literal interpretation of the words.
