Imkān / امکان
The project Imkān (meaning possibility, contingent, existence in Farsi and Urdu) attempts to find aesthetic parallels between AI and geometry, digital pixel and Girih patterns in Persian architectures, and computational and cosmological codes, all of which hold the potential to signify the imperceptible.
Each culture represents the actualization of human potential within a particular environment on Earth and at a specific period in history. A culture is deeply intertwined with its unique space-time context, which shapes its episteme. Can different epistemes be reconciled to transcend the limitations of our zeitgeist?
